What Is the 7 Series?
The 7 Series is a serialized, multi-arc speculative saga that blends cosmic satire, psychological horror, and interactive storytelling. If you're searching for dark sci-fi fiction, urban-fantasy horror (think apocalyptic podcaster), or a grimdark universe with multimedia potential—you’ve just fallen into the right Void.
It starts with a podcaster named Adam
Cynical. Sarcastic. Deeply average.
Until the day he accidentally live-streams the apocalypse—and realizes he’s not just a man, but the fractured vessel of a godlike force named Pride.
In Arc I, Adam and Alex spiral through the Void on a collision course with divinity, grief, and the glitching edge of reality.
It ends with Pride’s awakening.
In Arc II, Pride faces Envy in a divine power struggle—rewriting grief, identity, and reality itself.

If You Like These, You’re Already a Fan
The 7 Series resonates with the strange, the sacred, and the seriously unwell.
Warhammer 40k – A sprawling, lore-heavy universe where despair is canon and gods are hungry. Like 40k, 7 Series isn’t afraid of bleak futures, fan-obsession, or franchise expansion.
The Witcher (Books/Games) – Morally wrecked protagonists, monsters both metaphorical and literal, and a deep well of lore you can drown in. Plus the potential to jump formats without losing bite.
SCP Foundation – Redacted reports. Reality glitches. Audience-as-investigator energy. The Codex lives in this same strange, beautifully bureaucratic world of speculative horror.
Welcome to Night Vale – The uncanny baked into everyday life. If you like your existential dread narrated with a wink and a deadpan voice from beyond the veil, you’ll feel at home here.
Bo Burnham's Inside – Not a traditional comp, but spiritually aligned. The 7 Series shares its blend of dark humor, existential unraveling, and the horror of being perceived through a digital lens.
Where It’s Going
The 7 Series is designed for expansion. Not just in narrative scope, but in format, community, and canon.
Currently
Serialized weekly on Nocturnal Narrator
400+ subscribers with high open rates, retention, and community engagement
Interactive polls and lore decisions integrated into the text
Expanding Codex of terms, species, and artifacts shaped by reader input
Future roadmap (public-facing)
7 compete arcs have been outlined. (Whether that outline is used entirely depends on you, the reader. No pressure or anything.)
Full-length novels with alternate canon threads and timelines
Lore-rich compendium (Codex) with worldbuilding entries, bestiary, redacted files, and annotations
Digital RPG / Interactive experience (psychological survival horror, branching narrative)
Narrative podcast: audio companion, narrated by yours truly.
Community-driven side quests
Potential collabs for voice acting, streaming lore events, or even ARG-style experiences
Why Does 7 Series Exist?
Because dark fiction deserves to be bold again. Because horror can be funny, brutal, and devastating in the same chapter. Because the world is terrifying. Because I wanted to build a world that could rot gloriously with its audience.
And because the gods we fear might be just as flawed.
For Industry Eyes (if you made it this far)
Let’s talk:

World Domination (??)
You can email me. Or just scream into the Void (the Void may be non-Euclidean but it does still have office hours. Response times are the same, though. Weirdly enough)

Say Hello or Scream Into the Void
Until the next story is written in blood & shadows,
—The Narrator
In the early 1970s this guy used to do incredible stories with his kids. By 1979 Bantam Publisher would pick up about 8000 copies of these books. In the next 20 years and 250 million copies later, Choose Your Own Adventure books ignited the imagination of children everywhere, me included.
I read the Average Adam story. I might be a “afraid” of what NN will derive in the chapters that follows, but this and all these fantastical derivations remind me of this childlike wonder, kind of like the paradigm shift that Wednesday gave to Netflix.
I’m only a little afraid because I hear tell that Void Demons protect all from the biggest fools to the littlest spiders, so this sexy writer might just bat my eyes at Jeffrey and say heeeeyyyy …. And scream, scream … scream…. Like riding a hells ape rollercoaster on fire into the void that raise my endorphins and maybe my pheromones until the next storyline.
But hey. I totally choose this … irony here … AA adventure, NN says CC.
