Nocturnal Narrator aka Nikki
I never thought I’d actually use this page. Honestly, I never imagined anyone would care enough to read it. Lesson learned.
But here we are—over 600 subscribers later—and apparently, some of you are curious enough to want to know who’s behind the madness.
I’m Nichole, but you can call me Nikki.
I live in the US, somewhere in the EST zone, in my mid-20s. I share my space with a dog named Sam and a cat named Dean—yes, Supernatural references. I’ve bounced around a bit—from California to Italy—so let’s just say I’m well-traveled enough to keep things interesting.

I have that ADHD squirrel brain, so my interests jump around. Mostly I’m hooked on horror and sci-fi writing. Though don’t rule out the occasional romant-asy—it’s a thing, I promise.
Right now, my most-loved series is Olivia, a psychological thriller that’s been getting some serious attention. You can check it out below.
Why Everyone (including you) Should Be Reading Olivia
“Awareness isn’t protection anymore. It’s curriculum.”
Before Olivia, readers were digging my science fiction work—7 Series: End of the World Influencer and Epoch of Erasure. That journey’s linked below too.
So, Why Write on Substack?
I used to think my life goals were all over the place, changing with the tide. I’ve worked as an athletic trainer, in psychology, and in other area’s of healthcare. I’ve bounced from blogging to virtual training, and even owned my own business.
But I’ve realized my true north is actually pretty freakin’ simple: helping people.
Whether through a kind word (or 10), a tragic story to get lost in, or oversharing (I’m really good at that one), I just want to be the person that I wish I had when I was younger. That’s it.
My goal isn’t as grand as those who work in healthcare, education, or law—but I know that it still matters. If you want to help fuel these stories, you can support me on Ko-Fi (link below), or swing by the gift shop at the end.
So, anyway, here I am—writing silly stories on the internet, hoping I’ve made you smile, even if just a little.
Until the next story,
—The Narrator
