loving this more and more!!! olivia's narration is so immersive and i'm patting myself on the back for waiting to read this until more chapters were out because now i don't have to wait as long 😅
this is also brilliant, i'm curious to see where the story goes- i think it was very interesting for Olivia's character how obvious it was that at some point she just wanted to justify to herself talking to Ben through the way she looks at all men.
This is sooooo good! Enjoying this immensely; I adore the writing style and how it feels at once clinical and yet personal. Perfectly blended. And the line about arsenic delivery methods… I laughed as I was researching the same thing only the other day. Looking forward to the next instalment - love this! 🖤
Oh my gosh, I KNEW I drew inspiration for that line from somewhere!!! Get out of my head, silly! 😉 Thank you so so much for the kind words.
I won't lie, I was worried when I started publishing Olivia here. There was a point when the only feedback I had gotten was some variation of "Olivia isn't relatable and the scenes drag out forever with analytics."
I took it super personally, as us rational authors do.
So these comments, they mean the world to me. 🥹 I've been working on editing Chapter 3 for you guys, I should have it ready by Friday! I can't wait!
Loved both of these! Kudos for tackling Psychopathy as a subject…and not referencing narcissism. I’d a chewed my arm off. You slipped in “I still have the drive to do good.” It’s a great statement. Can’t wait to see it play out.
Thank you so much! What kind words 🖤 I do plan to tackle narcissism at some point but non-traditionally. And definitely indirectly. That's one of those things that I think is overdone in a very cliche, stereotypical way.
I like my characters to feel real and lived in, not defined by diagnosis or expectation. So this is a HUGE compliment to me. 🖤
As an additional comment, at the cost of sounding a defender or the patriarchy (which for all intents and purposes I don’t ultimately mind) I’d like to notice that we don’t have any substantial proof that all these men actually ever did anything bad. But I guess we’re all here to enjoy the moral ambiguity of life
This is a VERY good point, I'm so happy that you read between the lines!! That is very intentional. 😉 So far, you're the first to notice—or, rather, first one to call it out.
As you know, I love playing with psychology and perception. It's a common misconception that people with APD can't experience love or that they don't have empathy or something.
A lot of people with APD are indeed capable of experiencing and expressing love, although it often looks and feels different from what most people are used to. So that is actually one of my goals for this story! Though it will absolutely be taking a backseat to the violence and murder. 💀
I should have Chapter 3 out this weekend! I will say—Olivia and Ben are each other’s perfect…match? 😅 I guess we will see what that means this weekend. 😉

These are great. Really engaging voice.
Thank you so much! 🥹🖤

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so excited to post chapter three! Should be finished editing it by Friday ✨
It feels kinda sweet. That Olivia is mopping up a lot of junk that we don't need.
Olivia’s just a girl, cleaning up the world with….kindness…💀
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it so far. 🖤
She is sooo kind

I find Olivia perfect… I’m so enjoying this! The analytics, the strength of her character… yay for a new chapter coming soon!
The Void must’ve caused some kind of brain merging or something 😉

We need to make Olivia fall in love.
It's funny that you mention that...

Loved it 😁 again 😉
Oh I'm so glad you loved it!! Which was your favorite, though? 1 or 2? How did the scene jumps feel to you?
I liked both, although 2 threw a spanner in works which I must admit is intriguing 🤔
Is he like her, or ????
Can't wait for the next scenes 😁🤩😉
