Oh my gosh, thank you so much. 🥹 That means the world to me! This is one of the pieces that challenged me the most as a writer. It is so rewarding to get such positive feedback on it. 🖤🌙

Please keep it coming, I'm writing some rather absurd and dark humor short stories myself and am certainly inspired by you! Exceptional work and your humility makes it that much better ha. Thanks and I'm glad to return the inspiration

God chase. Fuck it. Great writing, and your prolific!

Also, maybe it would be interesting if you narrated small scenes, and I reply my actions, then you elaborate based on that. I wouldn't mind doing that as a game master of sorts. Idk just crossed my mind.

That's a brilliant idea! As a DM myself, I have prepared quite a few 'alternate' scenes for the interactive portion but I love that suggestion! How would you implement it? Similar to how I formatted the Pilot? https://nocturnalnarrator.substack.com/p/eotwi-interactive-pilot-knock-knock?r=55v3vn

Perfect, this is exciting. Emm.. Not sure, It would be more work, depending on the number of people. You would spin off the plot on the spot, like DnD, or have a deep set of story branches (also a ton of work), but if could be the most elaborate and crazy virtual chose your own adventure. Now I'm thinking - as I murder grammer better than ever and dont care- both ways could combine, and the god or goddess of narrative could interact in like a personal chat, or dialog, .. ok this is definitely DnD ish. In a greatway.

Absolutely is similar D&D! What you're describing sounds like 'play-by-post' which is basically text-based D&D. It is TONS of work but when it's done well, it's actually my preferred way to play.

I have some ideas now...

Here’s a thought… Do you think I should incorporate a leveling system? 👀

I wonder. I think some sort of leveling would be helpful. Would be curious if integration of even a character sheet of sorts eventually? For reference sake. It could be just whatever keeps the flow nice, I have always thought the dnd system was great but too heavy on titles, class limitations and magic; I like to feel it's real and fantasy both. I'm not being helpful.

A very wise decision! Maybe. I think.

Honestly, I'm making the same decision but because, uh, hello?? Put me back where you got me!

I have two completely different directions already written up for part 2, so I am really excited (and nervous) to see what you guys pick. 👀 The decision may seem insignificant—for now...

Nope! No need. I’ve got you covered. 🖤🌙 For the main storyline, popular vote will win. But, of course, I will post the alternate ‘endings.’
