We’re going to have to increase the “pillows-the-narrator-cries-into-when-people-are-nice” budget with you around. I can tell. 😭

Quick, totally unrelated question... you wouldn't happen to be scared of giant, soul-eating space spiders, would you?

This is such a mix of so many great elements. The podcast, the actual listening experience, the subject matter. It's totally up my street.

You're absolutely right, it's contextually relevant. I'm a journalist by day, so news elements always intrigue me, hence I liked those elements in your story.

I AM INTRIGUED! So, was the apocalypse really meant to happen, or did something otherworldly take matters into their own hands? The flickering lights and that ominous chat message have me questioning everything. I agree, don't stop writing—I need to know moreeee!

I'm glad you're enjoying the playlist!! I’m planning to update them as the story evolves.

Nuclear alarm is a great guess! Funny enough, when I first started writing, I was actually watching tornado documentaries. Of all things, it was a recording of Chicago’s weather alert system/tornado siren that got stuck in my head. Something about that eerie, distant wail—instant inspiration. Spooky stuff.
